New member here.

Why do I sometimes not get a notice that someone has replied to my threads?

It is frustrating to miss when someone takes time to try and help out. :-(

You talking about on-site alerts or email notices?

You talking about on-site alerts or email notices?

When someone responds to one of my threads, I think I see a red bell? And when someone PM's me, I think I get a red envelope?

I usually see those, but there have been several times already when I didn't get those icon notice that someone responded to a thread.

And I was away yesterday, and only had one response to a thread, so it isn't like there is some cutoff if you get 50 replies.

(I usually just log in and rely on the notices in the menu - haven't logged into email in a while.)

Sorry for complaining, but it's always annoying when indicators don't work properly.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong.

Today, I didn't see any notifications of replies, so I went to Your COntent > Threads You Started and I did see a red bell there.

So why is a notice showing there but not in the menu bar?

Anyway, that is what I'm experiencing.
