General Notification sync not wokring

Hello.

I know the first time I bought my iPhone 6 and iPad (mini retina) I had some problem syncing notification from 1 device to another. Now, this problem is happening again and I do not know where to find the troubleshooting step I did the last time to solve the problem. Maybe I am searching the wrong terms, but somekind of help would be appreciated.

Both are running iOS 8.1 and updating to 8.1.2 isn't a solution.

I've tried rebooting so far

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1

Notifcation sync has been hit or miss since ios 7.

I've never had a problem until now...
