Nova (app store offering with Prime purchase, not beta) has been great on Pixel 4a - 8 Pro, OnePlus 8/8T and Samsung S23+ (OneUI 5.1 and 6.0) and S24+ for me. I check out other launchers periodically and keep coming back to Nova.

Nova is pretty much the only 3rd party launcher I would ever use. That being said, I haven't used it in a while. I found the settings to be a confusing mess. I also had stability issues.

For me speed and reliability are paramount and most stock launchers have most of the features or settings I want anyway.

I don't think it can hurt to try it out. You can always uninstall it and return back to the stock launcher.

One reason I use to use it is for icon packs which is limited or not compatible on most manufacturer stock launchers.

I've been using Nova for years; zero issues about one of the best launchers IMO

Have it on my Google Fold currently and had it on every Google, Samsung and OnePlus Android handset I've used over the years

I have it on both P8P and Fold ..it's running smoothly with no issues though I wish foldables were better with 3rd party launchers ..it was updated in the Google Play store yesterday with beta 8.0 compatible for Android 14..I've run with the pro version since it was in it's early stages.. a few things that it has over stock is overlapping widgets.. gestures.. hide the status bar..get rid of at a glance for pixel devices..easily switch icons and themes of launcher with app drawer scrolling and backgrounds..so many settings to tweak to your liking

I no longer use a launcher. Both my tablets are Samsung and I like the OS as is. Both tablets are slow and using MS launcher was nice but made performance a bit slower.

I used it religiously for years and was the first thing I'd reach for on any new android. Since around Android 11 though I've stuck with the stock Samsung interface as it had caught up in terms of features etc and haven't looked back.

I pretty much use it on all my Android devices except for my current foldable. Even use it in place of One IU 6.1 on my S24 Ultra. It allows me to develop and use a standard tweeked for me launcher and setup. It provides me with a consistent UI.

ps: Nova needs a foldable version ;)

if i remember right....with Nova paid version. You can backup your config settings in the cloud. Then install on any future devices and have all of your setting just as it was before.

I like the at a glance widget on the stock launcher but the one in Nova is dog ugly.

This one with the stupid border.

This isn't a Nova widget. It's from Google and can be used with any launcher. If you long press on this widget you can choose a version with a solid or semi-transparent background instead of solid border. Personally I prefer this at-a-glance widget to the one baked into the Pixel launcher.

I've recently started using Nova. I like that you can hide and rename app icons, which you can't do with the stock pixel launcher. Also with the stock pixel launcher I don't like that you can't remove the date from home screen (it just stays behind after disabling at-a-glance).

I'm using Nova 8.0.14 Beta. I'm noticing it can occasionally be a bit glitchy whereby it doesn't respond properly to swipes and taps. When this happens it can be resolved by momentarily turning screen off and on again.

I'm on the same beta I don't have any swipe or tap issues the only small bug I've noticed so far is once in a while my home screen icons disappear for a micro sec but it's only happened twice and I've never had this issue till the latest beta.. keeping an eye on it in case I need to report back to them
