I read unbelievable speeds for NVMe compared to SSD, which run through the Thunderbolt interface for external enclosures, and the prices only around 50% higher.
TB3 can handle 40Gbps (~5GBps), can anybody attest to these speeds with an external NVMe enclosure, say through an iMac ?
If possible, I would like to use a RAID 1 to mirror running from an external NVMe SSD, is that possible ?
