Hi all,

Does anyone know whether I will be able to successfully use my 3G facility (O2) on the iPad whilst on holiday in Spain?

I'm being dragged out there during the World Cup and am planning to stream matches via TV Catchup whilst away from any TV sets.

Will this work as it all sounds far to good to be true?!

Any advise appreciated.

TV Catchup only works from a UK-recognised internet address (unless you proxy).

Also, won't O2 charge you a ridiculous amount to use data while roaming abroad - something like £5 per MB. Not exactly ideal for video streaming.

Thanks for the replies,

Thought it sounded a bit too easy. Still, I'm sure the missus will enjoy dinner on her own, she'll understand.

Fingers crossed for Scotland in 2014!

Thanks again.
