Should I use my AirPods Max or my HomePods in stereo mode to watch the event tonight?
Why do you think Apple sent out AirPods Max's to some 'influencers'?

I'll be using my Apple TV of course.

I'd go with the AirPods Max. This is what Apple said in the letter that was sent:

To make your viewing experience a bit more "spatial," we hope you'll enjoy immersive listening with AirPods Max, along with a few sweet and spooky snacks.

They are doing a wordplay with "special", but guessing there's going to be spatial audio involved.

I think I will start with the AirPods Max and if nothing special is going on I'll just switch over to the HomePods! I do believe that the HomePods have Spatial Audio as well but I think the Maxs are a little more immersive.
