I've had my OG HomePod for four years. It's been great!!! Until today... I was listening to music until I realized it was no longer playing. At first I thought I told Siri to lower the volume. Then I found it is dead. Not just a little dead. More like dead dead. No lights, no sound, no nothing. I unplugged it for 20 minutes then plugged it in again. I think it's gone. I don't know if it's related to a recent software update. It's on version 17.4. This sucks! As I said, thing thing has been great. I've loved the sound and it's been my main music source on the first floor.

I forgot Apple brought back the full size HomePod. I guess I know what I'll be buying. I believe there is a market for dead ones. What are they selling for and should I have any concern about not being able to restore mine to factory settings?

Excuse me while I mourn the OG...
