Ok, I just got back and I realised that I must have left the plug bit of the AC adaptor in the socket of our computer labs when i pulled it out of the socket

Any chance that I can buy a replacement for that? How much would that cost?

Give Applecare a ring, they're able to order singles for you although I don't know about the price. I don't reckon they could charge you anywhere near the price of the world travel kit.

You can tell them your whole adaptor thing is broken and take a brand new one....in the meantime just use the cable extension...i know it is not that convenient..but you have to keep in mind somehow not to forget things behind :p :)
