All iPads old HDMI and VGA adapters don't work

new mini and ipad4....
ordered lightning to 30 pin connector so my ipad2/3 adapters would work for my projector - no go...--> "unsupported" - called apple and told them I have a presentation next week and new lightning adapter is 2 -3 weeks away - found me a new one, shipped it overnight free and credited me for the 30 pin connector...

If this is what makes everything in apple land overpriced, I'll put up with it......

so far it only charges an old 30 pin charger/sync cord into a lightning charge/sync cord...LOL

correct....my bad..... and the apple cust relations guy pointed that out, and still went ahead and gave me credit....like I said, great service
