I'm looking for feedback and advice towards finding a compatible bluetooth speaker model, to pair with an old ipad of mine.
Past experience has taught me that getting bluetooth devices to communicate is far from guaranteed - especially when there is an age gap in the hardware. Unexpected issues seem to crop up such as Bluetooth Smart technology (low power BT) refusing to recognize old BT devices; some non-Apple speakers not talking to Apple devices; and so on.
