Hello,

Recently i've received an old macbook

from a friend.

it's an early 2015 macbook 12'' pro

with i5 cpu and retina display with 8 gb of ram and 120

storage space.

and Yosemite 10 os

(sorry for the lack of more in-depth technical details, im quite new to this os)

my issue is that i basically want to connect

to the appstore but i can't because whenever i try to enter

with my Apple id details i get a message taht these details

are incorrect, despite double checking many times and

succesfuly connecting to the apple id website.

my main goal is to download and upgrade the os.

now i've tried several things:

iv'e tried creating a new user with an i cloud account,

so on the first time i enter i will have to connect

and enter my details, however, 2fa doesn't seem to

be working, i was supposed to get an sms text message

with a code, but not getting it for some reason.

so is it a lost cause?

or is there a way to resolve this issue?...

there
I can't get anything apple or iCloud working on my MacBook Air 2010 with Mountain Lion,
and itouch G4 with 6.ios
perhaps Apple stop supporting these older devices and MacBooks without real letting us know.
they still work and we can use their iCloud site to activate the cloud service.
