iPad Air Older Smart Cover w/ Pro Silicone Case??

I have an iPad Air 2. I needed a new back case and found what looked like a legit Apple silicone case for 9.7” iPads on eBay.

My iPad Air smart covers attachment magnet does not sit flush on the iPad (pic 1). The magnets still hold it up (pic 2), but I’m a bit OCD and want a smart cover that fits properly.

Do the newer smart covers fit flush with with the silicone case?
