...with smoke and all, i thought it was a gonner but last night I had some time on my hands and did a little surgury..

and there it is working once again in its gutted form...seems like a bunch of transistors had burnt out.

after i took everything apart i decided to take this pic...i was looking at the whole mess and was wondering if i would ever be able to put it back together haha

I did in fact put it all backtogether, minus a screw or two ;) and for those of you wondering yes I did reapplied the thermal paste ;)

they were actually stuck between the processor daughter card and the main board...have no idea how they got in there, might have caused the fried resistors too ;)
