I have a cMP 4,1 dual processor that the analog audio seems to have failed on. I'm wondering if the audio is processed on the backplane or the processor tray? I have a single processor machine that's working fine, but I was reluctant to swap it to test in the event that the problem could somehow damage my (good) 4,1 single processor tray.

Audio circuit and audio amplifier are on the backplane, nothing audio related on the processor tray.
