In the new all singing all dancing IOS5 we were promised cable free sync features....In fact it was one of the features that I most looked forward to.

Now the rub. I can't sync to my iMac because it's connected to my gigabit router, turn wifi on whatever, it can't be seen by my iPad or my phone.

Take it off the network and it works perfectly. I understand the security implications and why Apple have done it this way, but my iMac HAS to live on my network so for me it's cables as usual

As for the rest of it, yeah pretty good but the one thing I really would have found useful doesn't work for me:mad:

Update

All is forgiven, I found a way round this by fiddling with the ports on my router. I now have wireless syncing on all devices, and that is the one useful feature that I wanted :)
