iPhone 15 Pro One or two microphones on the bottom?

According to the information from Apple, the iPhone 15 Pro has two microphones on the bottom. On my voice recorder, only the left one works. Is my iPhone defective, or is there really only one microphone on the bottom?

I thought it has just one microphone, but the tech specs say two. I don’t think recording software has the ability to distinguish between the microphones. They aren’t far enough apart for stereo. The captured audio is probably just going to the left channel.
