Finally figured out- I just don’t really need both, so ones got to go! Any experience with this situation? It’s difficult. I have a work PC I use daily and then these two for other things. One is a 13, M1 2020 8gb. Great device. The other - a 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 M1. Interestingly, this thing has done everything I’ve thrown at it! Which has me wanting to get rid of one now. Any advise much ,
Much appreciated!

If you do not need explicitly need a Macintosh (ex.Dev,Logic/Finalcut), nuff said, the ipad is a great device and does not overlap with your pc as much as having two laptops.

If not certain.

Try and live a week without the mac / ipad to test your workflow without any of the two devices and make your choice then, you still have a month before the new generation of devices tanks the resale value what you currently own.

Good perspective thanks. I’ve hardly used the Mac since I got the iPad months ago …..

Dump the overpriced iPad and keep the Mac. You never can tell when you will need to do something that will not be possible on the iPad. Why place potential limits on yourself for no reason?

Good points, just a bit nervous of depreciation value of the Mac given the new line up coming…..

If you are not selling the Mac depreciation is not an issue. It cost about 1k so if you keep it 3 or 4 years it is pretty cheap. Many people keep them for much longer.
