I have had my iPad pro 11" for about six months now and I love It. Also have the Apple Pencil which I have always kept connected to the iPad. I am not a power user but use it a lot every day and I was always having to charge it every second day.
For an experiment I kept the Apple Pencil of it but still using it as normal and lo and behold now getting over three days use before having to charge it.
So off it stays now and just connect when charging.
I know its pretty obvious but did not think it make such a big difference.
