Order WiFi by strength

Why does it order WiFi by name?

I spend half my life in hotels that often have a router in every room and some even output two different bands per router in a room. So often it picks up 50+ WiFi points and it takes far longer than it should do to find the right one.

I'm relatively new to mac and can't find any way to change it

I couldn’t find anyway to adjust the order, including any workarounds (GUI or CLI). So, unless I’m mistaken, you’ll need to use a third-party app:

Thanks I'll try it, I'm surprised it's not built in.

Every time I have to scroll way down and hunt for the right set of numbers.
