I have an original Mac Mini (bought the day it came out). Is there a way that I can connect it to two HD tv's and show the same thing on both TV's without buying an expensive DVI or HDMI amp?

i got a dvi-d splitter and I have a dvi to hdmi cable plugged into one, and an SVGA cable plugged into the other. I see nothing on either display, and the mac mini doesn't detect any external monitors. any ideas?

Does it detect internal monitors? Are you screen sharing in?

You can't hook up VGA to a DVI-D splitter. VGA is analog. DVD-D is digital only. Unless there is a digital to VGA converter - that should not work.

But DVI to HDMI should work.

Which DVI splitter did you buy?
