Wondering if some one can help me.I had to go back to the original OSX Lion 10.7.5 and now cannot figure out how to upgrade to the new High Sierra OSX.It keeps on saying I need 10.8 or later to do so.Where can I update this older OSX 10.7.5 to the 10.8.Any links is greatly appreciated.I'm a Window user I just picked up this used 27"imac from my cousin.

According to this Apple document, you can upgrade from Lion 10.7.5 to High Sierra, but it also says 10.8 in General Requirements:

There seems to be a mistake in the Apple document since it says 10.7.5 in one area and 10.8 under General Requirements. Could you provide more specific information on what the problem was that caused you to return to Lion, what you did, and the "It" mentioned in your post? Can you do a screen capture? What year is your iMac?
