If i had bought server for Yosemite, do i have to buy it again for El Cap? or will the app store just upgrade it

In the past you always had to buy the new version, and I doubt that'll change with 10.11/Server 5.0.

thats what i thought, was hoping it would upgrade for free with the capitan. thanks

It's a bit unclear what will happen. The betas of Server 5 run on 10.10.4 and the previews of 10.11.

Well, I think you can run it on OS X El Capitan PB... At least me!
