I am trying to sell my Rev. A MBA to get a Rev. C 2.13GHz 128GB SSD.
Looking to read comments from people who did the same.
Can Rev. C finally play a movie without skipping frames? Can it run 4-5 apps without the fans kicking up to 6,000 rpm?
Also the iSight on the Rev. A is a POS. Have they upgraded it to a better one?
I swapped from Rev B (1.6 GHz/120GB SATA) to Rev C (2.13GHz/128GB SSD) two months ago. I am very satisfied with the new model.
The SSD is amazing. Now I'm running snow leopard 10A421a on it. Boot time is less than 7 sec after the apple logo appears. Shutdown time is about 5 sec. All the programs start up very quickly, just take 2~3 jumps on the dock.
The temperature is ok when running multi-tasks. I love coolbook but it is not compatible with snow leopard. What a pity!
