Yes, so I think the short time period between images for the first one explains why you got that time lapse look. There was not enough movement of the extra people to end up with blank spaces for averaging. When you use a longer time frame, more of the background becomes visible over time and the people get erased out because it's evident they are moving throughout.
Ah, I see there's a bit of a misunderstanding.

With the street crossing picture I was actually aiming to get a motion blur effect. I wanted to keep the persons visible, just smeared out - hence the burst shot.

Trying for a landscape "Molly-style."

While 1/80s isn't exactly dragging the shutter, I'm zoomed out at 200mm and the driver was bookin'.

Somewhere on the south coast of Iceland.

Went for a very traditional approach that week, but I’d also like to try the image stacking method.

PS: I haven’t posted in a while. Although, I did shoot something for each week, I just didn’t have to time for editing and posting. I’m catching up on the last weeks soon.

Finally got around to doing this one. My little Oly has a minimum aperture of ƒ-11 and its slowest ISO is 100. It does have aperture priority but no direct way to control shutter speed. To date I have not bought the bayonet 44mm filter adapter, though that is on the list. IOW long exposures with this camera can be very challenging especially during daylight hours.

Anyways photo on the left used ƒ-5, ISO 100, SS=1/800 sec. To get the photo on the right I returned a day or 2 later, at a time when the area was mostly in the shade. I set the ISO to 100 and the aperture to its minimum of ƒ-11. Held a polarizing filter in front of the lens, hand holding camera and filter for a 1/15th sec exposure. EBV on both images was -0.7 of an ƒ-stop to prevent washing out the highlights.
