I have a table in Pages that is very long and goes across several pages.

I noticed that when the table is longer than one page, you cannot move rows anymore. Does anyone know why this is? And if there's perhaps another solution?

Creating individual tables for each page is not a solution. I have titles and things like that, that are the same over many pages. Imagine having to change these so many times.

I would also like to sort the table in alphabetical order, but I noticed that this isn't possible when there are cells in the table that have been merged.

This is so annoying. Why is none of this possible in Pages?
