...the Apple Store App is still stating I have a balance to pay off. How long does it take for the VZW systems to update Apple's that I paid it off?

Why not order from Verizon then? They have better stock that from apple direct.
Can't find any stores for pickup, and too many things can go wrong with delivery. Plus they always seem to lose the trade.
