"Panic Medic Boot" my computer keeps restarting

Hi there. I am a super noob so please have patience with me. I am a songwriter and have my computer for one purpose, writing music. I use a program called logic x and until today I have had no problems with my mac mini m1 2020 running big sur. For some reason my computer keeps on restarting, with "Panic Medic Boot" showing up before restarting again. Tried reinstalling big sur but it says it doesn't have enough space on Macintosh. I have precious files on this computer that are not backed up. Can somebody please help me? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks again

This might get your system out of the reboot loop.
From Terminal in Recovery, run the command

kmutil trigger-panic-medic --volume-root /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD

or

kmutil trigger-panic-medic --volume-root "/Volumes/Macintosh HD"

They are identical in effect, just different way of writing them.
The command will “Delete and disable loading of third party kexts in order to safely boot into a target volume. (can only be triggered in Recovery mode)”

I tried both ways and this was the response both ways attached picture but it still keeps popping up and then restarting. Please help me.

I tried booting in safe mode and same issue. I also tried to copy important files that I have from my computer to external but it restarts before I am able to. These files are so important to me. Someone please help

Are you able to remain booted in recovery mode?
Try running hardware diagnostics. Hold D (cmd+D?) during boot

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but do I go into recovery mode first or from a normal boot?

kmutil install --volume-root "/Volumes/Macintosh HD" --check-rebuild

It should rebuild the kext cache.

Thank you so much. Something worked. Never tried the third command but I rebooted a couple times after trying thr first 2 commands and I'm back making music. I appreciate the help. You guys rock

Awesome. Just in case you get into trouble again if this was spurred on by semi-failing hardware, I'd get some backups done while you can. Hopefully it stays running fine, but just in case

You may need to reinstall some of your software, if it relies on installed kexts to work.

Hi there, I’m so glad I found this post I’m having the exact same problem. I’ve tried to follow the steps in which you took, but my Mac is still crashing and restarting. Could somebody help me with the steps as I too have a lot of files on this computer that I cannot transfer because of the continuous crashing. Please, and thank you in advance.

You have to do that from Recovery.
