Parallax Effect Jerky on iPhone 7

I just got a new iPhone 7 and am curious as to whether this is happening to other users as well. I notice that Parallax is not smooth as it was with my iPhone 6, when closing an app it now stops for a blink and then keeps closing. I usually have Reduce Motion on so this doesn't bother that much me but this thing is too expensive to be faulty, if that is the case. No idea if it is software or hardware related. Any feedback would be appreciated!
