We're in the midst of trying to figure out how to set up parental controls for a teenager's iPhone. My understanding so far is to use "iCloud Family" which I've found on my Mac (System preferences-iCloud). I had problems adding our child, but then I realized (after reading a few support articles) that you can't add a child there who's over 13, so should the child just create a normal Apple ID account?

Once that's done and added to the iCloud Family, can we still block the child's access to the App store (so we keep track of which apps can be installed/used)?
