Ok. Let’s get it out. I just caught my 7 year old daughter watching porn on her iPad. And not even soft stuff. Pretty hardcore stuff! Screen time+parental control is always active and setup to block inappropriate content in safari. Clearly it’s far from working perfectly. Going through safari history I can see that she’s been at it for weeks so it’s not just an accident.
I understand that Apple can’t block every possible page, so this is just as much a warning that this feature is mostly just giving parents a false sense of security. I really wish that Apple would generate weekly/daily reports of searches etc.
Any ideas on how to improve this? For now I will just routinely check the browsing history
