Apps Passcode before getting into anything?

My kids are at the age where I am catching them pushing the button on the remote and it turns on the TV and they figured out how to navigate to Netflix and watch cartoons. Is there some way to just add a pass code to lock everythng like an iPhone?

Just use the parental controls feature, this is exactly the situation it's there for.
