Why does Apple want you to pay off your card balance before you pay off your iPhone? I have my iPhone installments down to a reasonable level and want to pay it off. But I read I have to have a zero balance on my Apple Card before I can do this. Really don't understand the need for this.

Could you paste in the section from your Apple Card agreement that states this?

Since iPhone installments are interest free. They want you pay off any amount that my occur interest first. They want you to pay the least amount of interest as possible
