Hello. I have an two iMac G3 that I’m upgrading. One has 1x 512MB PC133 RAM, and 1x 256MB PC133 in it, the other has 1x 256MB PC133 and 1x 128MB PC100 in it.

I am buying 512MB PC133 RAM on eBay to upgrade both to 1GB total each. In total I have bought 4 of them sticks, but 3 of them don't work and iMac doesn't see them or doesn't boot when they are in.

Is this because the RAM is faulty or is there some types of 512MB PC133 that doesn't work? If some doesn't work, what is the reason and how do I tell the difference? Thanks!
