iPad PDF app suggestion

Hello folks. I just got my m1 12.9 ipad pro, and it’s my first ever. I’m looking for a pdf app that allows me to password protect the pdf files. Is there one that is available that is not a yearly subscription model? They all lock the password protection behind the subscription, and I would subscribe if I need all the other features, but I just need the password protection feature. Any recommendations? If it’s a one time purchase I’ll be more than happy to pay. Thanks.

Preview does that. File > Export... Put a check in the box "Encrypt".

Take a look at PDF Expert. I have been using it for years. There is a free version and sub model.

Oops. I had Mac on my mind. On my iPad I like GoodNotes, but it doesn't support password protection.

I can set a password and I don't have a subscription.
