Thinking of getting this kit as a gift for my parents to get started with Apple HomeKit.

Has anyone used this one? What is your experience.

Also, if you buy this in US, would it also work in Europe?

Thanks guys

This is the one I got for my folks - they enjoy turning off the lights with their voice - 'this is even cooler than the clapper we had' may have been said.

The only negative (that I can think of) about buying a US kit for use in Europe would be the power adapter that comes with the hub, might have to find a Euro equivalent.

It should only need a change of connection pin with another one that comes in the box or getting a pin adaptor.

These Hue White bulbs are only useful in a dining room or kitchen, where you want to have accurate colours to make food look good, or a workshop or laundry. Otherwise they are too white and not warm enough. I would go with White Ambience bulbs or White and Colour bulbs (getting the latest version for better colour spectrum).
