Recently updated to iOS 17.2.1 and found the phone heats up a lot when charging to where it is uncomfortable to hold. Phone is SE 2022. Anyone else notice the same? I am NOT using fast charging.

Ok it’s randomly heating up even disconnected from power and just browsing the web.

I think that’s normal. If you’re using your phone whilst charging it, it’ll get hot.

It wasn't doing that before. Plus per my 2nd post, it is heating up even during normal use.
There has been quite a few threads regarding devices getting hot on iOS17. It isn't isolated to any particular series and you may have to do a complete restore using iTunes/Finder with and without using your backup to figure out if it's just a corrupt download or possibly something with your unique setup that's causing the problem..

The phone is getting crazy hot since updating to 17.3. This is while running on battery.
