Haven't seen this on the forum yet, but a very simple app called Phone Home allows Keynote, iTunes, and DVD Player access much along the lines of the telekinesis app, but for me, much easier to get going and use. Worth checking out, I say.

The iPhone Safari can't connect to the necessary URL. Too bad.

Don't be so quick to dismiss it. Now I dont want to think you overlooked this, but did you type https://localhost:3001 into your iPhone Safari browser or did you type the IP address of your computer running the app. If you did the first, it would probably give you an error like that. I can see how someone would do this as it's not explained in the application itself, but the 'Getting Started' text file addresses it.
