Does anyone here use their iphone for capturing artwork for printing, instead of scanning? I am trying to figure out how to us the latest 14 pro max in Apple Pro Raw 48 MP to do this.

My basic question is: In order to achieve the highest resolution, should I get as close as possible to the image with the camera, or should I be back some distance and use the zoom?

Use the natural telephoto lens. Not the regular, and don’t use in between zoom levels. They’re digital zooming.
Use some sort of tripod to hold the iPhone perfectly still and parallel with the artwork.
Light it well

Import into photoshop and adjust it there.
