When do y'all think the next version of PS will be released? I guess it won't be UB until then.

Probably won't be for some time, maybe well into Fall 2006?

And, yes, that's correct, that will be when Adobe releases a Universal Binary version. They have already announced that they are not going to do anything with PS CS2 as far as Universal Binary.

Now Lightroom, that's another story....

Adobe products are generally on an 18-24 month release cycle. IIRC, CS2 was released in May 2005, so we're looking at CS3 coming out sometime between November 2006 and May 2007 as an estimate.

It may be a Universal Binary but they won't even know that until they're finished.
