Macintoshes are moving to Intel processors and member grneyedjay had a suggestion for an Apple ad.

Get out your image editors and let's see what the rest of you can come up with.

Apple will need print ads, billboard graphics, store window displays, shipping boxes, perhaps some logos/icons, as well as ways to identify the new processor when the Intel-based Mac models come out. Intel will want to promote them too. If you are tired of "Intel Inside" stickers, make up something better and show it to us.

I hope and don't think that apple will put a sign of a hw brand next to their logo ;)

I don't think so either. just don't think Steve would allow that. IMHO it's a Windows type of think, suppose to impress the purchaser. The only thing of real quality in the machine.

Sorry but the Mickey Mac would be cute for little children, but its more likely to be Windows based.

The mickey mac:

I remember something similar to this several years ago. All I can recall is that they had a Barbie computer for the girls, and a Hot Wheels one for the boys. I don't remember if it was a PC or Mac, but I know they didn't go over too well.

Edit: After a quick Google, it was a PC. 333MHz Celeron and 15" monitor. Thats the only specs I could find. Made by Patriot Computers

Can't find any pictures of the Barbie model though. More info here: http://news.com.com/2100-1040-229387.html?legacy=cnet

I believe they were Wintel units.

I just hope that Apple does not decide to go to the "dark side" by putting the "Intel Inside" stickers on all the units.
