Yes, I backed this and can't wait.

It was built in unity, not infinity engine...that would be dumb as it's ancient. But it is clearly mimicking that look.

I know this is an old thread (started in March 2014), but I am considering playing this game. The question I have concerns the unusual way the pricing is done. It is being crowdfunded, and in return there will be in-game benefits (unclear what), but if I make a pledge for 5, which is the minimum, what does this number mean? Is it 5 US dollars? I would probably use my paypal account. The backer portal for pillars of eternity is https://eternity.obsidian.net/backer.

That is for the sequel. It's in US dollars. $5 gets you nothing. It's just to support them. $29 gets you the game when it's released.
