iPad Pinch to home screen delay (multitasking gesture ipad)

Just wondering if anyone else has the same issues? When I pinch to home screen with four or five fingers in landscape mode there is a delay to show the home screen. This issue wasnt there before 8.4 on my Air 2. Doesnt seem to happen If Im in portrait mode or use the home button.

Welcome to 8.4. This is the lag that people keep complaining about. Apparently it's not even fixed in iOS 9, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for being fixed soon.

It has something to do with the music app.

The music app isnt running in the background and I have apple music completely disabled.

Makes me wonder if it's just worth installing the iOS 9 public beta since it's pretty stable my most accounts. Perhaps more stable than 8.4.

I was thinking the same thing, but I've heard there are still so me bugs like AirPlay on iOS 9 beta. I think I'll just wait another 5 weeks or so until iOS 9 is officially released.
