great for tinkering. not so much as a daily driver.

This device is developed in suck a way it works as a devtool for future Linux phones. Hopefully we will get to the point where we will have a distro consistent enough so that it can be used in any kind of form factor as a daily driver as a 3rd alternative.

2/16GB? Wow, is it 2015 again?

Really unsure the viability of this project - surely there’s an upfront cost to making these in sufficient quantity to be viable. Really not sure if there’s enough geeks out there interested to help them break even...

They have priced it around $150, so we are talking about an entry level smartphone here really.

Was considering one until I got to the checkout option and it was PayPal ? ?

Probably better off shoving linage OS or graphineOS on existing a series pixel
