Playstation update kills console

Hello everyone,
I recently updated the software on my playstation 4 to 8.03 and it totally bricked my system. Now, every game freezes and I can only stream television shows on it. I looked up the issue and it seems to be happening to a lot of people. Has anyone here had that problem?

I just checked, apparently I’m already on 8.03 but I haven’t encountered any problems. Maybe I got lucky.
