I own a Color Laserjet 3700 and keep getting a 41.7 Error. I went to the HP website, and it says this is an error with the page sensors because paper is not loading fast enough through the printer.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I use pretty heavy quality paper. Could that be it?

It literally requires me to stand at my printer and keep clearing out the error while the printer prints.

It's so bad, I'm going to sell the thing. Don't want to. Can't afford to replace it. But it really is that bad.

PLEASE help...thanks.

I use crap quality high-speed copy paper in my HP LaserJet -- because it always chokes on the thicker high quality paper.

Try a variety of reems to see what the printer likes.

I've only run about 140k pages through mine, and I've always ended up back with the cheap paper.

Remember, mine is a B&W 5si so play around with the paper in yours since YMMV.
