I was very sceptical going to a regular iPhone 15 from my 13 Pro Max about two months ago. I did got the 15 Pro Max initially but I wasn’t too keen with the design and I was more attracted to the darker Black iPhone 15.
Also, I feel like the 6.7 inches is a tad too big for me, even when I have larger-than-average hands. I realised I always had 50% to 60% of battery left on my 13 PM at the end of the day and though the battery life was excellent, I felt like I could trade some of it for some compactness.
So I went with the 15, and I’m very pleased with the battery life. It’s not as great at the 13 Pro Max or possibly the 15 Pro Max but I’m satisfied of how reliable it has been on iOS 17. I managed to almost hit the 9 hour mark (SoT) recently with above than average use.
