Those who seem to doubt that us who have large capacity iPhones especially 512GB actually need that much space shouldn’t be making the assumption we don’t need that much. In many cases we probably do. I prefer to air on the side of caution as you can’t add storage and I can afford to do so. I don’t like to or don’t want to have to manage my storage or rely on the Cloud storage. Regardless of whether we do or not it’s our choice to buy larger capacity storage iPhones.

256 GB phone with a bit less than 100 GB left available. 256 turned out a great choice for this device for me.

Yes, 128 GB is the sweet spot, i agree with that. And i do not have an idea if the iPhone users, who buy an iPhone with 512 GB, really need that, the answer is actually “No”, i believe; at least for most of them. Also it seems that would be nice if Apple had offered 128 GB storage for Pro models.

Enjoy with your iPhone 11 ?
If you don't store films or take loads of 4K video then I would agree 128GB would be the sweet spot for most. However if you store alot of films then 512GB would be about right that would give you enough space.

iPhone 11 Pro Max - 256gb / 138gb remaining.

If there was a 128gb option I would have bought that. But there isn't, and 64gb ain't it.

I would keep AT LEAST the 10% of the available storage free.

Ideally, that should be at least 20%. For example, iCloud Photos syncing can act wonky, complain about not enough free space and get stuck below 20% free. Alas, it's too late to get bigger storage now. Only option is to upgrade the phone.

Well with no expandable storage.
You're likely to go for the option thats overkill simply just in case.

128GB will be the sweet spot for many but Apple dont offer it on the Pro models at least.

100% agree with this. I too would have been ok with 128gb but I opted for the 11 Pro

Surviving with 32GB... Space can be tight sometimes but I'm a light user.

Wife has 128gb iPhone 11 with 70.1 remaining, I have 256GB 11 Pro with 145 remaining. Both have rather large music libraries, mine has numerous pharmacy oriented medical references stored.

215.57 GB available out of 256 GB on the X. Kept wondering what the issue could be, when I realised my Apple Music library is pending for Downloads. I consume about 80-90 GB on an average.
