Is there any sign that Tiger will finally kill off polling in the Finder once and for all and using the kqueue mechanism from FreeBSD/Darwin?

Update: Polling is apparently dead in Tiger after looking around on the Internet. Finally, newly created files will show up without having to activate the Finder! :)

It's about time Apple switched to kqueue (or whatever mechanism they used as a substitute if they opted not to use kqueue). The polling mechanism caused, among other things, the free and used space on a Mac OS X hard disk not to update in some cases until you did a Get Info on the drive in question.
