Finally my package is in the UK! No idea why this needs to take so long, might be because they're using USPS? Why are they using USPS?

I paid extra for UPS shipping on an item a few weeks ago. UPS got it to Dallas in about a day, then they turned it over to the USPS and I didn't get it for another three days.

Awaiting on a maxed out 15" rMBP to be delivered to a local Apple Store for pick up. Somewhat annoying since it is a part number they carry in store, but the online store doesn't recognize that when you switch it from shipping to in-store pick up. Ordered it on the 8th, should be available on the 18th.

If they carry it in the store couldn't you just go get one there?

I'm game.

Synology DS213j NAS for my MBA:

$192 on Amazon with free shipping. I had a $25 Amazon gift card, plus 2 Visa gift cards, one at $25 and the other at $58. Dropped the price to roughly $85. This retails for $200.

Second, found this via Techbargains:

$104 with free shipping at B&H. They retail at $150. So I'm grabbing two of these.

So I'm walking out the door with this for $295, where normally this would be over $600 after shipping.

All of this so I can get rid of my hackintosh. Plus it gives me access to my data without having to depend on any cloud-based service, especially because in light of the whole NSA debacle.
