Exactly, sort of like Mac OS 9 and before in a way. The simplicity of it all (and an anime background ofc) makes everything very enjoyable to useI feel you with Windows XP - I had a lot of fun using that myself - not overly complicated and theming was like "INSERT Anime character with big joyful teary eyes"

Absolutely. Y'z Dock and Y'z Shadow.. excellent programs. Before any other Dock-like programs(Did ObjectDock come before?) this fellow from Japan had it all worked out.had soooo much fun theming with XP... mainly mac clone UIs... my first look at Shinobi amongst other great themes.
